Finn's halloween party

My mom's group had a halloween party for the kiddo's.  Of course Finn didn't want to wear any part of his costume... hat, hanky, even the overalls.  SO, our plan was once we arrived at the party Finn would be excited to see all his friends, he wouldn't notice me slipping on the rest of his costume.  It worked for about 5 seconds.  Oh well.  It was cute to see all the little people costumes... Finn had fun but is having trouble with the sharing concept, so we had to say a lot of "Finnly, you have to share... Finnly you have to wait your turn..."  We have a long road ahead of us on that one...

Katie's 30th 80's style birthday bash

Katie turned 30... and hosted a 80's birthday bash at Flora Springs winery.  Finn stayed with my parents for the weekend so Erik and I were thrown back to a time where it was just the three of us... McCovey, Erik and I... needless to say, we got a little more sleep and had a little more wine then normal ;-) The party was SO fun... yummy food, dancing and very rad outfits!  Happy Dirty Thirty Katie!

Visit to Rodoni Farm

Finn and I met up with some mom's at a local farm to pick some pumpkins...We only got tiny ones, being that we have over 15 huge pumpkins by our front door from our farm...Finn didn't want to miss a fun day with his friends.  We tried to take a group shot with just the kids... that was a complete disaster... so the mom's jumped in the photo :-)

Our summer this year was cold... so i guess 80 degree's in october should be expected?  Whatever the reason, we'll take it.   I even brought a kite down to fly later in the day... and there was NO wind in Aptos, which by 5pm is really rare!
