This year, instead of laboring in the pumpkin fields finding and picking our pumpkins, we got them at the pumpkin patch farm... proving to be a much easier task, thus we left with a trunk FULL of beautiful pumpkins of all sizes, shapes and kinds.
This is Finn's wagon... if it were up to him, this is the only pumpkin we would have gotten... but that was not going to do for Erik...
We hosted our meetup playgroups Halloween party this year!
about 1 minute after the last guest left the party...
About 1 month prior to Halloween, I found a great Buzz lightyear costume at a local kids store... we hung it up, and for DAYS tried to get Finn to wear it... We got him into it 2 for about 1 minute... it seemed hopeless. If asked what his was going to be for Halloween, he'd say "Buzz." However, the only "costume" we could get him to wear for both our Halloween party and the Capitola Halloween parade was a soccer outfit Fletcher had brought back from London... AND then about 4pm on Halloween, our neighbors, Dillon and Cole (both 5yrs) came over in their costumes, and Finn said "i want my Buzz costume!" He put it on and that was it. All he needed was a little peer pressure :-)
